"Naan yen avlo ponnungala vitutu jessy a kaadhlikren??"
Heart full of love but not getting an opportunity to show it out.
"yaarukkume bayam illama, entha tension um illama naan unnoda vaalanum. Ellarum happy a irukkanum. Avanga paathruvaangalo, ivanga paathruvaangalo ndra bayame irukka koodaathu" -- dialogue of thrisha, depicts every girl's feelings.
She says this as a reason to reject when simbu proposes and asks for a friendship.
"Ne 100 adi thoorathla irundhaalum enaku una kiss pananum pola irukku. This is love. How will I can be your friend?"
-- Simbu's dialogue gets very good applause from youngsters.
Simbu (Karthick) is a mechanical engineer and crazy about direction. Thrisha (Jessy) works in a s/w company, a keralite.
Though first few minutes of the film was going monotonously, then suddenly it becomes interesting when Karthick proposes to Jessy.
Though the story is a old one, (like father opposing love and cross religious marriage), the screen play was really fantastic that makes everyone to get involved into it. Karthick's craziness is so cute. "I like to go to Kerala. aven aven love kaaga america ve poran" -- this dialogue has become mantra for loving youngsters.
The scene in the Park (UK) was really good and acts as a very good turning point. People, (especially in love) cries during this scene. But all gets a doubt about why Jessy's father said "she is married". That gets cleared at the last scene. This becomes a very big and unexpected twist. GVM made our heart beat very fast at this place.
Simbu has done so well.
Thrisha, though has acted very well, was looking so dull and made her fans to get dissappointed.
Karthick sister was not so beautiful. Selection could have been better.
Dance steps are not so good and are already seen in most of the surya's films.
Songs are so good. Dance and visualizas=tion could have been better.
The scene to prove that karthick is a boxer could have been avoided. Just a build up!!
Many twists, many confusions..!!
Simbu proposes. She rejects. Then she asks for friendship. She Loves in train. Again says no and gets ready for marriage. Then she stops her marriage. Again says no when karthick is in Goa.
Yet the film is so good, there lies GVM's magic.
First Half is so nice. Second half not bad. The park scene is excellent.
Enjoyable and worthy!! But expected more out of GVM.
